The Student Safety & Support Team (SS&ST) may coordinate with your professors and your academic advisors, including your Association Dean or the Assistant/Associate Dean for Academic Programs in your school (Architecture, College of Arts & Sciences, Engineering, etc.) as appropriate to determine reasonable accommodations.
Academic accommodations can include, but are not limited to:
- Changes to your class schedule to avoid contact with a professor or another student
- Extensions on assignments
- Reducing your course load
- Requesting consideration for absences
- Rescheduling exams
In many cases, SS&ST may work with the Title IX Coordinator to ensure you are receiving the accommodations you need. Your professors and advisors will not be given any specific details about what happened to you.
