The Dean on Call is a professional staff member from the Student Safety & Support Team (SS&ST) who is available 24/7 to provide crisis management and incident follow-up and/or response services to UVA students. They are a private resource, so information you share will be kept private, but might be shared with key staff members so they can act if necessary for safety reasons. Students who seek support from the Dean on Call do not need to disclose their perpetrator's name or any details they are not comfortable sharing.

If you need to contact them outside of their regular Monday through Friday 8am-5pm hours, call UPD at (434) 924-7166 and ask them to refer you to the Dean on Call — they will connect you anonymously in most cases, but calling from a blocked phone number will ensure your anonymity.
